Enter your company's financial year end for the exact dates: accounts at Companies House, Corporation Tax payment and the CT600 at HMRC, and the confirmation statement. Companies House and HMRC deadlines are different, and this tool shows both.
Used for first accounts and for the confirmation statement review period.

A Corporation Tax period starts when trading starts, which is often later than registration.

Received a strike-off warning or a late filing penalty?
We prepare and file overdue accounts and confirmation statements, and object to a strike-off where that is needed.
Common questions
What is the penalty for filing UK company accounts late?
For private limited companies: Up to 1 month late is £150, 1 to 3 months late is £375, 3 to 6 months late is £750, and over 6 months late is £1,500. Penalties double if accounts are filed late two years in a row.
When are annual accounts due for a new UK company?
Usually the first accounting period is longer than 12 months, and then a private company's first accounts are due by the later of 21 months after registration and 3 months after the year end (18 months for a public company). If the first year end has been shortened so the period is 12 months or less, the normal rule applies: 9 months after the year end (6 for a public company), or 3 months after the notice changing the year end, if later. After the first year, accounts are due 9 months after each financial year end.
Are the Companies House and HMRC deadlines the same?
No. Accounts go to Companies House 9 months after the financial year end. Corporation Tax is paid to HMRC 9 months and 1 day after the end of the accounting period, and the Company Tax Return (CT600) is filed 12 months after it. Missing the Companies House date brings an automatic penalty; HMRC penalties for a late return are separate.
